The key to a good epoxy floor is using high quality materials. The most important part of the process is preparing the floors before applying your epoxy. The most common is acid cleaning and pressure washing and that is good to start. Well that is not good enough for us. Instead of using acid we manually grind the floor all throughout getting rid of the first layer of concrete and opening all the pores so the epoxy really gets in to the concrete. This is a process that not everyone is willing to do. Grinding the concrete is the hardest part of the process but it’s the best for a good lasting garage epoxy floor.
